Harney District Hospital's Family Care Clinic is seeking an active, personable, team-oriented Family Practice Physician to join our current staff of Family Physicians and Nurse Practitioners.  Patient Centered Primary Care Home provides team based integrated care, behavioral services and care management to our small, frontier community.  Share state of the art electronic practice environment. Provides medical care to the patients of Harney District Hospital Family Care Clinic and clinical oversight to the Rural Health Clinic.  Provide oversight to the Midlevel Practitioners according to the rules established by the Oregon Medical Board and CMS in relation to RHC guidelines.  Provide direct medical care/services and consultation to the patients of HDH Family Care and Harney District Hospital.  Conducts comprehensive physical assessments; establish diagnoses for common illnesses and conditions.  Prescribe and manage medications; order, perform and interpret laboratory tests, order imaging procedures as needed.  Refer patients to appropriate physicians and other health care providers at appropriate agencies.  Provide patient education; manage acute and chronic conditions in patients.

Mandatory Requirements: Broad knowledge of health care administration, patient care principles and practices.  Possession of a degree from accredited school of Medicine (MD/DO).  Must possess an unencumbered Oregon Medical License.  Must be in good standing with the Oregon Medical Board.  Must have current Federal DEA and State DEA licenses and be AAFP Board Certified / Eligible.
